Infrared Sauna FAQs
What are Infrared Salt Saunas?
What’s the Difference Between Infrared Saunas and Traditional Saunas?
An Infrared Sauna uses the power of infrared heat to detoxify the body. Infrared heat, permeates into the tissue making for an incredible, detoxifying experience which is much more effective than traditional saunas (which only heat the skin). Infrared saunas are much gentler and more relaxing than traditional saunas. Traditional saunas reach unbearable temperatures of 180-220 Fahrenheit degrees and are known to be uncomfortable and suffocating. On the other hand, Infrared Saunas are dry and comfortable and only reach a temperature of around 100 degrees to create a comfortable, relaxing feeling.
Why is yours called an Infrared, Himalayan Salt Sauna?
Our saunas have many distinguishing qualities about them, but the two most important and valuable features are: the inclusion of Himalayan salt bricks and the use of Infrared technology. As stated above, Infrared technology is a superior and more comfortable way to deliver heat to the body for health and wellness. By introducing Himalayan salt bricks to the sauna session, you get the added benefits that one receives from using a Himalayan salt lamp at the same time. In this manner you are benefitting in multiple ways within just one session.
How Does the Infrared Sauna Detoxify the Body?
We are constantly bombarded with toxins from our environment, even in our own homes and in the everyday products we use daily. Our body stores many of these toxins such as mercury, formaldehyde, aluminium in our fat cells. The powerful light of the infrared saunas penetrates deep into the body to melt fat and activate the body’s detoxification process which allows the release of toxins through the skin.
